Featuring durability, processability and design flexibility, Makrolon® Rx1805 polycarbonate from Covestro met QS’ needs for producing the insulin-delivery interface and molding the medication ampoules. This medical-grade polycarbonate ensures that the drug-delivery component can consistently puncture through the plug of an insulin ampoule. It also allows for the drug-sampling needle and the protective cover of the drug suction apparatus to be injection molded in one shot.
